Research Park Rules

The Arizona State University Research Park and the tenant properties within the Park are private property.  Public use of designated recreational areas (lakeside paths, lawns, and ramadas) is allowed between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. daily. This memo serves as a reminder of the rules that will be enforced by the Park and the City of Tempe.VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED

  • Pets – Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Pets are not allowed in the lakes.
  • DO NOT FEED Feral Cats, Ducks and Birds.
  • Tenant leased properties and vacant lots are private property. Trespassers will be prosecuted per ARS 13-1500.
  • All trash must be placed in trash containers.  Fires are allowed ONLY within designated barbecue grills.
  • The operation of motorized vehicles off any paved roads is not allowed at any time. Motorized scooters are not allowed on the lake paths.

  • Fishing: Current state fishing license required. Catch and release encouraged. Report waterfowl tangled in fish line or hooks to the East Valley Wildlife Rehabilitation League at 480-899-1513.
  • Unauthorized parking in any private or tenant parking lot is not permitted at any time. Cars may be towed at owner’s expense.
  • No swimming (includes tubing, wading, and wind surfing). 
  • No boating (includes motorized, non-motorized and remote controlled).
  • The operation of audio equipment or any conduct that creates a nuisance to tenants, other Park users, or the surrounding neighborhood is not allowed at any time.
